Planned

Planned
Take a good walk or a cool day’s drive through the streets of Ghana’s premiere university, and you will be awestruck by the design and plan of the university. A while ago I happened to find myself in some of the otherwise, unexplored parts of the University of Ghana campus. Aside the rare opportunity to join the wonderful readers of changing the status quo of nanaboatemaa.com, the opportunity also gave me the chance to experience the unique design and great architectural layout of the campus.

An Aerial view of some parts of the university.
The array and outlook of the university has stood the test of time since 1948 when it was founded. It has proven time and time again to hold a significant uniqueness when architecture is mentioned.
This special experience got me thinking. How well do we plan for the various services we render unto to God? Are we sure to put before God the plans we make? How much efforts are invested into these plans to ensure that these acts of service to God are of the very best.

Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counsellors they are established. (NKJV)
There is always the Holy Spirit to provide the best of counsels. To ensure that plans have no other path, than that which we set them to be.
The Lord puts his future purpose for us in His plans: Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (RSV)
I must quickly add that, whatever plans you have in whatever activity or service to the Lord, do well to include God as the only One to help in the fulfilment of the plans.

Proverbs 16:3 commit to the lord whatever you do and he will establish you plans (NIV)
If we as people of God will excel and manifest the glory of God in all areas we find ourselves, we must be tactful enough in abiding under the presence of God to heed to scriptures’ plan and thence plan with the Lord.
We must always endeavour to remember that, for anything that we do, if we must succeed, it is of the Lord.
Finally, Isaiah 28:29 reads that, All this also comes from the Lord Almighty
Whose plans is wonderful,
Whose wisdom is magnificent (NIV)

Therefore, let us involve God in all facets of our planning process, to attain a future of great success.

God Bless You

Don’t fall

Don’t fall
1Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let Him that thinketh He standeth take heed lest He fall. (KJV)
One afternoon I was engaged in a conversation with a young beautiful lady in the ministry. She explained to me how easy the tendency was for one going in for a song ministration (or any other ministration) to become full of oneself and overly confident of their musical prowess and the possession of an angelic voice or the possession of an unmatched ability.  This causes ministers to almost have no reverence for the fact that ministrations are to God and it is He that grants the grace to do that which we do all the time.
Romans 9:16 So then it is not of Him that willeth, nor of Him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy (KJV).
The Bible in Basic English adds more meaning
Romans 9:16 (BBE) So then, it is not by the desire or by the attempt of man, but by the mercy of God.
Whatever service we do in the ministry, the success attained from the word go has been by the hand of God.
Not by our desire for the work of God or our willingness to do it, nor by our attempt to run the race. It has always been God from the beginning. You find yourself doing what you are doing at this point in time for God, because it has been his choice. God had carefully considered you doing this for Him at this time. No extra human-borne effort had a hand in it. It has solely been God.
Romans 9:16 So then God’s choice is not dependent on human will, nor on human effort [the totality of human striving], but on God who shows mercy [to whomever He chooses—it is His sovereign gift] (AMP).
He chose you for this. You are what the world has been waiting for to fulfil this. So you better stand well.
You will not want to fail God. Relying on Him to finish a good work in you. Fighting hard to stay under his feet and eating of his table. Eschewing pride and arrogance. You will want to do well to let the gospel go far, even to the ends of the world.
Romans 9:17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. (KJV)
Stand well!  Beware! Stay careful!  Be alert! See! The enemy is lurking around to steal these opportunities from you. Remember how Herod became too full of himself and was struck by the angel for taking praises not his? (Acts 12)
Don’t take praise for what God gives you. DO IT FOR HIM AND WITH HIM.
Just as it is exciting to know that you have been chosen and prepared for this. Likewise it is refreshing to note that he is ready to grace you with the strength and ability to perform and important to know that you don’t have it all if you lose contact from He that chose to prepare you.
Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; (KJV)
I want to encourage us today that we guard this business of the father with all our heart. Waiting on Him to take us where He wants to by Staying connected to Him. Sticking with our first love. Tying our robes to his, for we can’t rely on any man… not even our own weak, failing, unreliable self.  We cannot favour God or do Him a favour. He is our Favour!!

Let us be careful to stand on this One Solid Rock. When the tides of this earth rise against us, and holding onto the riggings yields no result, take time to wait on Him. Pray that He leads you in all that service you render. Let your power be a terra incognita while his power may be made known by you: thus how to soar higher and higher that you do not fall.
Stand. Stand on the rock. All other places you stand are quickly sinking.
Stand on Jesus (Luke 6:48).

DO IT FOR HIM AND WITH HIM.
Take heed and don’t fall.

All glory to Jesus.

God bless you

Dance in the sky

Dance in the sky
Men always come in sizes. You didn’t come like he did. Neither was she a replica of you. But in all the means that you came through and in all that you have been through, The Master planner looked on with keen interest. You’re His perfect creation made for this time to do the impossible by his hand.

Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, ....(KJV)

From the very time he thought of you till the very time of your now, HE the Lord is faithful and will bring you to a good end. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.(KJV)
You have been special by every means there is and continue to be…look no mean of yourself or take to thoughts anything otherwise. For you are special

A poem….
Dance in the sky
The stars shoot through the skies.
The dawn of babe’s cries.
Welcomed by the accoucheuse’s palms.
A sight of the day’s bright smile.

Amidst the moans and tears
A mothers pains of tears
Cloaked by the voice of the new-born she hears
Resounding joy drums in her ears

Hail The kinsmen gather
Echoing the heavenlies’ pattern
As the clouds roll in batches
The sun follows in orbits

Sing aloud to the nations
Let men now and in ages
Great, famous and the modest
Join the creatures in praises.

The bough has sprung
Standing out in the green willows
Fed from above in a sweetly brook
Bearing a bunch of a fruitful growth

The lord’s words in motion
His thoughts roll in action
A star delivered to the nations
The Father’s work to accomplish.

Your beginning is just as you see it, falter not. The Lord is undone yet. He will complete his work even with you
For I am certain of this very thing, that he by whom the good work was started in you will make it complete till the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6 (BBE)

Thank you
God bless you, richly. Amen
