DON’T REMAIN WHERE YOU FELL

Don’t remain where you fell!

In any race there would be obstacles that will cause one to fall. The burdens of the earth alone can’t be undermined, not to talk of the weakness of the human body and the never ending distractions and troubles of the day.

In building up these ‘words of this life’, I have come to appreciate that there are many such of these hurdles that draw us away from the eternal race. These distractions come in several disguises and attractive embellishments. The very aim is to drive the righteous off the just and correct course.

Having said that, anyone in such a situation will try to find a means of escape to elude the situation that besets them from the right track. Relying on our own strength will only wear us out. The Lord, our God is the only one that can aid us out.

The psalmist communicates this well in Psalm 34:19 that;

Great are the troubles of the upright: but the Lord takes him safely out of them all.” (BBE)

The righteous as is found in the King James Version will suffer many afflictions in his path. But the righteous with the consciousness of this truth must not waver, since being conscious of the awaiting opened arm of the Lord to help: will not remain in that same spot they fell. The Psalmist adds in the verse 17 of the same chapter that when the righteous are careful enough to acknowledge that their God can help and call unto Him, He will come to their aid.

In being careful to call on the Lord, the righteous must eschew pride which prevents them from ‘seeing’ that great help comes from the Lord. A man full of pride and of his own capabilities will remain down, in the same spot that they fell. Thus, failing to appreciate to even call on the name of the Lord to come to their aid.

Jeremiah 50:32, "and the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him." (KJV)

When the proud falls no one comes to their aid. They do not even notice or see they have fallen, than to even need the raising arm of a helper.

To rise out of a situation, we must learn to humble ourselves before the Lord.

 James 4:10 "humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up." (KJV)

To acknowledge His holy name and His ever saving grace to come to our aid, we must shun all pride lest we will not remain where we fell.

I have been away for many months, I had fallen in the race. Many have asked what happened to works of gold, many have even laughed it off. The Lord watches on; I kept saying. He will bring to fruition that which He is sending us to. I will not give in to be trodden upon. I see the opened arm of God, I am running to Him, the welcoming voice of the Lord calls on me to run on and I heed to it. The business and race of our Lord needs to be tended to, I will not give in to these troubles. The voice keeps saying, Works of Pure Gold, pick up the pieces and stand up for Jesus.

Don’t remain where you fell!

God bless you. In Jesus Name, Amen!
